Wadham & Isherwood, the commercial property consultants, are celebrating their twenty first anniversary of the firm opening in Farnham.

Wadham & Isherwood (Farnham) was started in 1989 by Geoff Reeve and Chris Lock who had previously run the commercial department of Weller Eggar in Farnham when this partnership was acquired by the Leeds Permanent Building Society.

To coincide with its coming of age the firm has incorporated as Reveloc Limited trading as Wadham & Isherwood (Farnham). Nick Reeve who has worked for the firm since April 2002 qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor in 2007 has been appointed as a Director. Chris Lock has become a Consultant to the firm and will continue to service his many long standing clients. Geoff Reeve who has worked in Farnham since 1977 and specialises in retail property, development and investments says “The past twenty one years have seen many changes in Farnham – the development of the Lion & Lamb Yard, Borelli Yard and the Water Lane Sainsbury’s have all had a major impact on the retail focus of the town centre. The East Street development scheme has been, and will continue to be, highly controversial. Its importance to Farnham cannot be understated and I hope that it will be the determining factor in the town’s prosperity, but it needs action as soon as the economic situation allows and it needs to be right for Farnham causing minimal impact whilst under construction. Farnham is such a wonderful place to live, work and play and all the development that has taken place to date has fitted in so well with the one exception very obviously being the Woolmead”.

Nick Reeve who is the third generation working in the property industry adds “I am proud to become a Director of the business that was established by my father and Chris. Our base in Farnham, and the Blackwater Valley, offers huge opportunities for businesses and enterprises of all sizes and I look forward to continuing the success of Wadham & Isherwood”.

Nick has built a reputation dealing with business space in the area, and has been involved in some of the largest property transactions in the Blackwater Valley in recent years, including the latest 22,000 sq.ft. letting at Watchmoor Park in Camberley to Telindus. He is also the letting agent of the surplus accommodation at the Qinetiq owned Cody Technology Park in Farnborough, a site of approx 183 hectares with buildings totalling almost 1.3 million sq.ft.

To celebrate the firm’s anniversary a cricket match is to be held at Farnham Cricket Club, which Wadham & Isherwood sponsor, on Wednesday 14th July where a Wadham & Isherwood XI including Geoff, Chris and Nick will take on a Chairman’s XI – start of play 4.30 p.m. Many old clients and friends have been invited to a hog roast with musical entertainment for guests.
