Surf’s up for Wadham & Isherwood

For the first time Wadham & Isherwood entered a team in the Alder King seventh annual Surf Challenge at Woolacombe Beach earlier this month, taking part in a surf competition and beach volleyball contest.

Over 80 people in the commercial property industry from across the UK attended the event, sponsored by Property Week, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors South West, Stonemartin, ARUP and John Smale & Co.

Whilst the small conditions made it extremely difficult to put in a good performance Wadham & Isherwood ‘ringers’ Alec and Greg Evers managed to finish in joint third place and the Wadham & Isherwood Volleyball team fought hard to finish runners up.

Dominic Rosenbaum from Alder King organised the event. He said: “The Surf Challenge brings together likeminded people associated with commercial property from across the UK for this unique event. We had excellent weather conditions on the day, and this year Alder King raised over £160 to help the local Woolacombe RNLI, who organised a lifeguard for us during the event.”
