9A CEDARWOOD, CHINEHAM PARK, BASINGSTOKE LETTING SALE
Acting on behalf of Cirrus Logistics, part of the CentriQ Group Limited, Wadham & Isherwood’s Farnham office have just conducted a search for new office premises in the Blackwater Valley/Basingstoke area.
Following an extensive investigation Cirrus Logistics settled on Basingstoke as their new home and with Wadham & Isherwood’s assistance opted to take a new lease on 9A Cedarwood on the successful Chineham Park office development owned by MEPC and marketed by local agents Hollis Hockley.
Acting on behalf of Cirrus Logistics, Wadham & Isherwood negotiated a new 5 year lease with a tenant only break option and rent free to cover the cost of fitting out and moving etc.
Frank Heald, the Chairman of all CentriQ Group companies stated, ‘Following the CentriQ Group’s recent acquisition of Cirrus Logistics, the decision was made to relocate the business to larger premises to allow for future expansion of the business and to provide a Southern office for VoiteQ. MEPC’s Chineham Park development offered us the perfect solution with high quality office accommodation on an established and successful Business Park. The park has excellent communications being a short drive from the M3 and I am confident that our staff will be happy in their new home’.
Nick Reeve of Wadham & Isherwood who acted for Cirrus Logistics said ‘This acquisition confirms that letting activity along the central M3 corridor continues, albeit at lower levels than previously experienced. Whilst the letting market has undoubtedly weakened over the last 12 months demand for high quality Grade A buildings, such as Cedarwood, still remains and it is likely that there will be a significant shortage of Grade A stock over coming years with very little new development taking place’.
