RECORD RENT ACHIEVED IN GUILDFORD
Acting on behalf of Store Property Investments Limited, Wadham and Isherwood have recently let the newly refurbished 16,000 sq ft office building known as Westbury, Bury Street, Guildford.
The property which was let immediately upon completion of the refurbishment has been taken by Codemaster Group Limited, the computer games company, on the basis of a 10 year lease at an initial rent of £456,570 per annum exclusive (£28.50 per sq ft). The lease incorporated a tenants break at the end of the 5th year of the term and the tenant was granted a minimal rent free period.
The rent achieved represents a record office rent for Guildford this cycle.
